Santiago Baxa vs Pedro Melgarejo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Atlantico promoted show at Leonel Bosquez Gym, Barranquilla,  taking place on 21/03/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Atlantico Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Baxa (4 - 5(1)) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Pedro Melgarejo(26(5) - 8) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Baxa weighed in at 146 pounds And 11 ounces, while Melgarejo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Franco Morlan, and the three ringside judges are Dimos Luz, Roman Soto and Carlos Montealegre.  

Round 1: 

Melgarejo digs in a firm right hook to Baxa's body.
