Hilario Vara vs Angel Carrico

Boxing Daily Report from the Micah Promotions promoted show at Brazil-Para Gym, Belem,  taking place on 19/03/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Brazil-Para Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Esporte Interativo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hilario Vara (21(1) - 0 - 1) who hails from Belem, Brazil and Angel Carrico(13 - 12) from Belem, Brazil.  Vara weighed in at 154 pounds, while Carrico weighed in at 153 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Noe Reza, and the three ringside judges are Juan Raso, Santiago Parras and Santiago Parra.  

Round 1: 

Vara closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Vara circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Carrico throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Vara advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Vara steps inside.  Vara sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Vara lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Vara could be enough to finish Carrico!  Vara lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND CARRICO IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Carrico now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Vara walks Carrico into the corner.  Carrico connects with a right hook.
