Federico Puente vs Xavier Preciado

Boxing Daily Report from the Boomer Promotions promoted show at Havana Zaragosa, Havana,  taking place on 16/03/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Cuba Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Federico Puente (20(7) - 7(4) - 1) who hails from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba and Xavier Preciado(21 - 6(1) - 1) from Havana, Cuba.  Puente weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces, while Preciado weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Puerto, and the three ringside judges are Neper Quinonez, Santiago Carrasco and Sancho Luiz.  

Round 1: 

Puente hits home with a solid right hook.  
Preciado is looking to close the distance.  Puente quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Preciado throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Puente is on target with a left hook.  
Puente lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Puente lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Puente advances into close range and lands two left uppercut's to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Puente senses Preciado is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Puente lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body, AND SENDS PRECIADO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Preciado has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Puente lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Puente gets on the inside.  Puente pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING PRECIADO DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Puente attempts to land a cross, but Preciado dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Puente is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Puente lands a left hook.  
Puente hits home with a cross.  
Puente is looking to close the distance and hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Preciado lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Puente is looking to keep his distance.  Preciado is on target with an overhand right.  
Puente hits home with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Preciado's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Preciado's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Preciado's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Puente connects with a VICIOUS cross.  PRECIADO IS DOWN!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Puente!
