Syed Issa vs Taras Tkachuk

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at KJC King Dome, Davao City,  taking place on 22/03/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the WRBA Super Welterweight title.  Also on the line is the WRBC Super Welterweight.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ABS Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Syed Issa (29(24) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Zarqa, Jordan and Taras Tkachuk(45(44) - 2(1)) from Gomel, Belarus.  Issa weighed in at 153 pounds and 11 ounces, while Tkachuk weighed in at 153 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fraco Tagulao, and the three ringside judges are Quin Agbisit, Ricky Bonoan and Noel Sayo.  

Round 1:

Issa steps inside.  Tkachuk quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a sharp right uppercut into Issa's body.  Tkachuk throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Issa's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Issa steps inside.  Tkachuk lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Issa quickly recovers.
