Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Rogers Center, Toronto,  taking place on 09/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Pekka Vatanen (34(29) - 1) who hails from Tampere, Finland and Guido Abrigo(16(12) - 4(3)) from Oakland, USA.  Both Vatanen and Abrigo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Clasby, and the three ringside judges are Rob Travis, Dylan Morris and Vivien Cassin.  

Round 1: 

Vatanen attempts to land a jab, but Abrigo sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Vatanen advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Vatanen tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Vatanen is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Abrigo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Vatanen walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Abrigo lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Vatanen steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Abrigo attempts to land a cross, but Vatanen sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Vatanen lands a cross.  Vatanen tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Vatanen connects with a cross.  
Vatanen is on target with a right uppercut.  
Abrigo pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Vatanen is looking to keep his distance and connects with a firm cross.  
Vatanen lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Vatanen is on target with a cross.  
Vatanen DETONATES a mean cross on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE ABRIGO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Vatanen throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Vatanen stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Vatanen lands a cross followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS ABRIGO!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Vatanen is looking to close the distance.  Vatanen lands a SAVAGE right hook.  ABRIGO IS DOWN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Vatanen!
