Dave Nkomo vs Lucas Gettinger

Boxing Daily Report from the Jaromir Dobroniecki promoted show at Arlington ISD, Arlington,  taking place on 15/03/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Black Sniper Nkomo (9(5) - 0) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Lucas Gettinger(35 - 12(7)) from Saint Paul, USA.  Nkomo weighed in at 228 pounds And 8 ounces, while Gettinger weighed in at 227 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Kinman, and the three ringside judges are Paul Mings, Bob Gory and Justin Clogston.  

Round 1: 

Nkomo is on target with a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Nkomo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gettinger lands a ramrod jab.  
Nkomo lands a solid cross to Gettinger's body.  
Gettinger hits home with a cross.  
Gettinger steps away from his opponent and attempts to land an overhand right, but Nkomo dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Nkomo lands a sharp cross.  
Gettinger finds the target with a jab.  
Nkomo steps inside and is on target with a right hook to Gettinger's ribcage.  
Nkomo steps to the outside.  Gettinger lands an overhand right.  
Nkomo steps inside and connects with a sharp left uppercut.  Nkomo throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Gettinger lands a jab, right hook and a cross to his opponents head.  
Nkomo is looking to close the distance.  Gettinger throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a SAVAGE cross.  GETTINGER IS HURT!  
Nkomo is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Nkomo knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Nkomo lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES GETTINGER!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Gettinger now seems to have his senses back.  
Gettinger throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a VICIOUS right hook.  GETTINGER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Gettinger recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Gettinger is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Gettinger sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gettinger tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Nkomo pivots to the right of his opponent.  Nkomo throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Gettinger walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Nkomo lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Gettinger sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Nkomo lands with a hard jab.  
Nkomo is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gettinger's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Nkomo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gettinger attempts to land a cross, but Nkomo slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Gettinger sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Nkomo lands with a ramrod jab.  
Gettinger steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Nkomo is looking to close the distance.  Gettinger hits home with a right hook.  
Nkomo lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Gettinger recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Nkomo lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES GETTINGER!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Gettinger recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Nkomo lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Nkomo throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Nkomo is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Gettinger digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Gettinger tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a spiteful cross.  DOWN GOES GETTINGER!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Nkomo steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Gettinger slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Nkomo gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Gettinger on the ropes.  Nkomo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gettinger is on target with a right hook to Nkomo's body.  
Nkomo switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Nkomo steps inside.  Gettinger tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Nkomo lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS GETTINGER TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Nkomo!
