Jordan Wiley vs Johnny Gallagher

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxing Kingdom promoted show at Balch Fieldhouse, Boulder,  taking place on 30/03/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jordan Wiley (16(7) - 0) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Johnny Gallagher(21 - 28(6) - 3) from New York City, USA.  Wiley weighed in at 135 pounds, while Gallagher weighed in at 134 pounds And 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is William Mutch, and the three ringside judges are Richie Watson, Mark Steven and Chris Dingwell.  

Round 1: 

Wiley gets on the inside and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Wiley ties up his opponent.  Wiley pushes his forearm into Gallagher's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Wiley about fouling.  
Wiley gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Wiley ties up his opponent.  Wiley uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Gallagher behind the head. Wiley leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Wiley's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Wiley feints a cross, tricking Gallagher into countering with a left hook.  Wiley springs the trap and counters with  a cross.  
Wiley is looking to close the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Wiley holds on to his opponent.  Wiley leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Wiley sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Wiley drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Wiley clinches his opponent.  Wiley is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Wiley's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Wiley lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.

Gallagher is looking to keep his distance and tries to land an overhand left, but Wiley slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Wiley closes the distance and walks Gallagher onto the ropes.  Wiley is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Wiley advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Wiley forces Gallagher to retreat into the corner.  Wiley hits home with a right uppercut.  
Wiley lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Wiley throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  Gallagher recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Wiley dabs at his face checking for damage.  Wiley has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Wiley lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Gallagher quickly recovers. 
Wiley cuts off the ring, trapping Gallagher in the corner.  Wiley is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Wiley digs in a sharp right hook to Gallagher's ribcage.

Wiley lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Wiley ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wiley walks Gallagher into the corner.  Wiley lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gallagher's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Gallagher's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Wiley senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Wiley lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS GALLAGHER!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Gallagher has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Wiley lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Wiley whips in a hurtful right hook to his opponents ribcage.  GALLAGHER IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Wiley lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Wiley is on target with a right uppercut to Gallagher's body.  
Wiley whips in a spiteful left hook to his opponents liver.  GALLAGHER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash! Gallagher switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Wiley lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Wiley holds on to his opponent.  Wiley is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Wiley's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Wiley gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Wiley tries to land a left uppercut, but Gallagher parries the shot and counters with a right hook.
