Xalvador Rubio vs Gyn Llandinam

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Estadio Nacional de F+�tbol Pedro Marrero, Havana,  taking place on 22/03/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xalvador Rubio (16(10) - 0) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Gyn Llandinam(38(9) - 10(7)) from Boston, USA.  Both Rubio and Llandinam weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cortez Bastidas, and the three ringside judges are Ponce Cortina, Cipriano Gomez and Agapetus Vaca.  

Round 1:

Rubio tries to step out of his opponents range.  Rubio quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Rubio is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Llandinam lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Llandinam is looking to close the distance and manages to force Rubio onto the ropes.  Llandinam attempts to land a right hook, but Rubio slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Llandinam lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Llandinam is looking to close the distance.  Rubio lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND LLANDINAM IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Llandinam almost instantly gets his legs back.

Llandinam is looking to close the distance.  Rubio digs in a sharp right hook to Llandinam's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE LLANDINAM WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Rubio ties up his opponent.  Llandinam is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Llandinam about fouling.  Llandinam quickly recovers. 
Llandinam throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Rubio ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Rubio pushes his forearm into Llandinam's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Rubio's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Llandinam's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Rubio steps to the outside and lands a big cross.  LLANDINAM IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.

Llandinam steps inside.  Rubio throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Rubio clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Rubio pushes his forearm into Llandinam's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Rubio tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land an overhand left, but Llandinam sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.

He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Rubio!
