Seferino Arredondo vs Lloyd Owens

Boxing Daily Report from the Jaromir Dobroniecki promoted show at Jake Gaither Gymnasium, Tallahassee,  taking place on 18/12/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Seferino Arredondo (3(1) - 0) who hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico and Lloyd Owens(25 - 13 - 2) from Louisville, USA.  Arredondo weighed in at 174 pounds and 14 ounces, while Owens weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Onofre Villagomez, and the three ringside judges are Scott Gemmell, Mark Swain and Elliot Balderas.  

Round 1: 

Arredondo gets on the inside.  Owens tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Arredondo clinches his opponent.  Arredondo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Arredondo pushes his forearm into Owens's face.  The ref breaks Arredondo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Owens is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Arredondo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands with a sharp jab.  
Arredondo advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Arredondo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a sharp jab.  
Arredondo advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Arredondo ties up his opponent.  Arredondo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Owens almost instantly recovers.
