Patrick Hickey vs Kieran Ward

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 21/10/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Celtic Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Patrick Hickey (35(17) - 5(5)) who hails from Bangor, UK and Kieran Ward(9 - 1) from Dublin, Ireland.  Hickey weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Ward weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gordon Arnott, and the three ringside judges are William Cooper, Peter McAlister and Marcus Couch.
