Antwan Dickins vs Greg Haraldson

Boxing Daily Report from the Granite Chin Promotions promoted show at Modern Woodmen Park, Davenport,  taking place on 05/08/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Mid West Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Antwan Dickins (14(7) - 0) who hails from Des Moines, USA and Greg Haraldson(15 - 15(1) - 8) from St. Louis, USA.  Both Dickins and Haraldson weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Stackpoole, and the three ringside judges are Mike James, Vince Caven and Vincent Bathgate.  

Round 1: 

Dickins lands an overhand left to the head followed by two jab's to the body.  
Haraldson advances into close range.  Dickins pivots to the side of his opponent.  Dickins drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Dickins holds on to his opponent.  Dickins pushes his forearm into Haraldson's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Dickins about fouling.  
Dickins switches the action to the outside and hits home with a solid cross.  
Dickins feints a right hook, and then is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Dickins lands a jab to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Dickins sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Dickins is on target with a jab to Haraldson's body.  
Dickins lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Haraldson advances into close range.  Dickins digs in a right hook to Haraldson's ribs.  
Haraldson gets on the inside.  Dickins is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Haraldson pivots to the left of his opponent.  Dickins hits home with a solid jab.  
Haraldson closes the distance.  Dickins drives a stinging right hook into Haraldson's body.

Dickins pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Haraldson tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Haraldson steps inside.  Dickins lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Dickins is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Haraldson closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Dickins ties up his opponent.  Dickins leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Haraldson's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Haraldson's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Dickins tries to keep the action at long range.  Dickins sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a jab to the body, a jab to the head and an overhand left to the head.  
Dickins lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Dickins is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dickins sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Haraldson advances into close range.  Dickins lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Dickins steps away from his opponent.  Dickins feints a left hook, and then lands with a spiteful jab.  
Dickins feints a left hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Dickins lands a straight 1 - 2, AND HARALDSON IS DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Haraldson cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Dickins!
