Hugh Carothers vs George Fairweather

Boxing Daily Report from the Ant promoted show at Cleveland Dodd, Cleveland,  taking place on 06/06/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Ohio Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Carothers (7 - 5 - 2) who hails from Cincinnati, USA and George Fairweather(30 - 18(5) - 1) from Columbus, USA.  Both Carothers and Fairweather weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Spencer Tighe, and the three ringside judges are Jake Kellis, Lee Saucerman and Phil Hines.  

Round 1: 

Fairweather sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Fairweather tries to land a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Fairweather closes the distance.  Carothers digs in a left uppercut to Fairweather's body.  
Carothers switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.
