George Bates vs John Ferries

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Boxing Federation promoted show at Auckland Loar, Auckland,  taking place on 30/05/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are George Bates (22 - 20(1) - 6) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and John Ferries(17 - 20(1) - 3) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Bates weighed in at 130 pounds, while Ferries weighed in at 129 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kenzie Anderson, and the three ringside judges are Will Mellas, Joey Bridgeforth and Justin Patariki.
