David Blakeman vs Luc Belizaire

Boxing Daily Report from the Basemera Promotions promoted show at Montreal de Honnecourt, Montreal,  taking place on 29/11/2040:

Clearly Basemera Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Blakeman (15 - 15(6) - 5) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Luc Belizaire(9 - 19(2) - 6) from Montreal, Canada.  Blakeman weighed in at 112 pounds And 8 ounces, while Belizaire weighed in at 112 pounds.    As Blakeman came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Mark Mostyn, and the three ringside judges are Briant Sarraute, Chevy Robert and Gower Paille.  

Round 1: 

Blakeman closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Belizaire closes the distance.  Blakeman lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Belizaire closes the distance and manages to force Blakeman onto the ropes.  Blakeman connects with a right hook.  
Blakeman attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Belizaire time to recover.
