Wasyl Holub vs Danylko Kovalenko

Boxing Daily Report from the Papugyan Promotions promoted show at Gomel Kozlovsky, Gomel,  taking place on 10/02/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belarus-East Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wasyl Holub (5 - 18(1) - 6) who hails from Gomel, Belarus and Danylko Kovalenko(5 - 3 - 4) from Vitebsk, Belarus.  Both Holub and Kovalenko weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Faddei Voloshin, and the three ringside judges are Yulian Karlik, Mikhail Tarasov and Petro Taran.  

Round 1: 

Holub steps to the outside.  Kovalenko lands a cross.  
Kovalenko digs in a right hook to Holub's ribcage.  
Kovalenko digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Holub sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Kovalenko's liver.

Kovalenko pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Kovalenko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Holub lands a right hook.  
Kovalenko is looking to close the distance.  Holub tries to land a right hook, but Kovalenko slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Holub's body.  
Holub lands a left hook.  
Kovalenko closes the distance.  Holub throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kovalenko is on target with a right hook.

Holub pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Holub lands a right hook.  Holub wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Kovalenko.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
