Rodrigo Melgar vs Montenegro Cepero

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngcobo Promotions promoted show at Havana Martinez, Havana,  taking place on 20/01/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Melgar (3 - 8) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Montenegro Cepero(16 - 22(13) - 3) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Melgar and Cepero weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Valenciano, and the three ringside judges are Alfonso Fiel, Montel Albarran and Ponce Cortina.  

Round 1: 

Melgar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand right.  
Cepero gets on the inside.  Melgar tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
