Frederick Damitz vs Erny Heinemeyer

Boxing Daily Report from the BoxHaus AG promoted show at University Sports Centre, Basel,  taking place on 06/01/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Frederick Damitz (23(20) - 0) who hails from Basel, Switzerland and Erny Heinemeyer(4 - 14 - 2) from Zurich, Switzerland.  Damitz weighed in at 129 pounds And 8 ounces, while Heinemeyer weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Koltin Strevel, and the three ringside judges are Vilhelm Picht, Hardy Kurtzer and Stan Gfeller.  

Round 1: 

Damitz is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Damitz closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Damitz is looking to close the distance.  Damitz pivots to the right of his opponent.  Heinemeyer throws a right uppercut, but Damitz holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Damitz pushes his forearm into Heinemeyer's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Damitz manages to force Heinemeyer onto the ropes.  Damitz lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Heinemeyer throws a right uppercut, but Damitz clinches his opponent.  Damitz pushes his forearm into Heinemeyer's face.  The referee warns Damitz and breaks the clinch.  
Heinemeyer pivots to the side of his opponent.  Damitz lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Damitz ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Damitz pushes his forearm into Heinemeyer's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Damitz to stop fouling.  
Heinemeyer steps inside.  Damitz lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Damitz clinches his opponent.  Damitz leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Damitz gets on the inside.  Damitz lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Damitz dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Damitz lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Damitz steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Damitz lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Damitz steps inside and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Damitz waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Heinemeyer throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Damitz lands with a solid jab.  
Damitz steps inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Damitz lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Damitz drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Heinemeyer's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Heinemeyer's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Heinemeyer's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Damitz walks Heinemeyer down, trapping him in the corner.  Damitz lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Heinemeyer throws a right hook, but Damitz clinches his opponent.  Damitz tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Heinemeyer behind the head. Damitz leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Damitz to stop holding.  
Damitz lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Damitz manouvers Heinemeyer onto the ropes.  Damitz sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Damitz crashes a nasty right hook to Heinemeyer's body.  HEINEMEYER IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.  The ref takes a good look at Heinemeyer's eyes.  The ref is waving the fight off...he doesnt think Heinemeyer is fit to continue!  The winner by TKO is Damitz!
