Elia Waisanen vs Ilppo Hanka

Boxing Daily Report from the Wekinky Promotions promoted show at Helsinki Arajarvi, Helsinki,  taking place on 22/12/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Finland-Uusimaa Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elia Waisanen (22(21) - 6(5)) who hails from Espoo, Finland and Ilppo Hanka(13 - 1) from Helsinki, Finland.  Waisanen weighed in at 154 pounds, while Hanka weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tuomas Aulis, and the three ringside judges are Ahvo Maki, Kaarlo Nurmela and Justus Tuomioja.  

Round 1: 

Waisanen lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Waisanen is on target with a sharp cross.  
Waisanen steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Waisanen clinches his opponent.  Waisanen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Waisanen steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hanka almost instantly gets his legs back.

Hanka advances into close range and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Hanka throws a left hook, but Waisanen clinches his opponent.  Hanka pushes his forearm into Waisanen's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Waisanen steps away from his opponent and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hanka lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Waisanen lands a jab, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Hanka steps inside and forces Waisanen to back into the ropes.  Hanka pivots to the right of his opponent.  Waisanen connects with a left hook.  
Waisanen lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Waisanen lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Waisanen stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Hanka tries to land a jab, but Waisanen slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Hanka throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Waisanen steps to the outside and lands a sharp jab.  
Waisanen tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Waisanen is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Waisanen lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Waisanen tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  Hanka recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Waisanen lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Hanka advances into close range.  Waisanen lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Waisanen tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a stiff jab.  
Waisanen closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS HANKA TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Hanka recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hanka's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Hanka's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Round 2: 

Waisanen lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Waisanen is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Waisanen steps away from his opponent and DETONATES a nasty overhand right on his opponents face.  HANKA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Hanka now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Waisanen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a FEARSOME cross.  HANKA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Hanka gets on the inside.  Waisanen is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Waisanen lands a left uppercut followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES HANKA!  He manages to get up at 7.  Hanka now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Hanka throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Waisanen lands two jab's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Waisanen lands a jab.  
Waisanen finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Waisanen is on target with a left hook to Hanka's body.  
Waisanen is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hanka quickly recovers. 
Waisanen hits home with a stinging jab.  
Waisanen gets on the inside.  Hanka is on target with a right uppercut.  Waisanen clinches his opponent.  Waisanen pushes his forearm into Hanka's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Waisanen about fouling.

Waisanen tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a solid cross.  
Hanka manages to force Waisanen onto the ropes.  Hanka sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Waisanen throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hanka lands a spiteful jab.  Hanka tries to land a left uppercut, but Waisanen blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Waisanen lands with a stiff jab.  
Waisanen steps to the outside and EXPLODES a DEVASTATING cross into his opponents face.  HANKA IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Waisanen!
