Dewei Cheng vs Ganesh Thaosen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Sarawak promoted show at Irfan Tabet Gym, Kuching,  taking place on 29/11/2039:

Clearly AI Malaysia-Sarawak have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Sarawak Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dewei Cheng (5 - 1) who hails from Kuching, Malaysia and Ganesh Thaosen(2 - 7(1) - 5) from Kuching, Malaysia.  Both Cheng and Thaosen weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Farhan Salim, and the three ringside judges are Asif Khalili, Sajid Sheikh and Asif Khalili.  

Round 1: 

Cheng lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Cheng tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right.  
Thaosen gets on the inside.  Cheng steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Thaosen is whaling away with hooks, but Cheng keeps his defence tight.  
Cheng is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Thaosen tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cheng lands a cross.  
Cheng hits home with a left hook.  Cheng attempts to land a right uppercut, but Thaosen blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Cheng is on target with a left hook.  
Thaosen attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Cheng's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Cheng wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Thaosen.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
