Sancho Acpal vs Onofre Pacubas

Boxing Daily Report from the Run Forficula promoted show at Cebu Coliseum, Cebu City,  taking place on 17/11/2039:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Sancho Acpal (5(1) - 0 - 1) who hails from Santa Maria, Philippines and Onofre Pacubas(10 - 2 - 1) from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.  Both Acpal and Pacubas weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bronco Aplaon, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Yago, Urvano Delangel and Mark Alviar.  

Round 1: 

Acpal advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  Acpal ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Acpal pushes his forearm into Pacubas's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Acpal.  
Acpal steps inside.  Pacubas throws a left hook, but Acpal clinches his opponent.  Acpal is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Acpal's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pacubas is looking to keep his distance.  Acpal sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Acpal tries to land a jab, but Pacubas sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Acpal advances into close range and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Pacubas switches the action to the outside.  Acpal lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.
