Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 21/10/2039:

Clearly Gore Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Zach Cody (2 - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Jake Glasco(0 - 0) from Calgary, Canada.  Both Cody and Glasco weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Burt, and the three ringside judges are Elliot Ogle, Mike Stobie and Dominic Lowder.  

Round 1: 

Cody lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Cody steps inside.  Glasco is on target with a right hook.  
Cody advances into close range.  Cody pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.

Glasco throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Glasco tries to keep the action at long range.  Cody lands a stinging jab.  Cody tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Cody manages to force Glasco into the corner.  Cody lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Cody closes the distance.  Cody quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a firm left hook.  
Cody lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Cody backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Glasco tries to tag Cody on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!

Glasco is looking to keep his distance.  Cody is on target with a jab to Glasco's body.  
Cody is on target with a firm left hook to Glasco's ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Glasco's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Glasco's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Glasco's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
