Ian Gills vs John Gray

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Boxing Academy promoted show at Auckland Tod, Auckland,  taking place on 30/10/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Gills (3 - 9(3) - 1) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and John Gray(20 - 14(1) - 5) from North Shore, New Zealand.  Gills weighed in at 159 pounds And 15 ounces, while Gray weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Henry Ngahoro, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Moffitt, Mark Kinzey and Mason Bellis.  

Round 1: 

Gills is looking to keep his distance and hits home with an overhand right.  Gills throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Gills's body.
