Edmundo Chapin vs Macario Severo

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Bayamon Vargas, Bayamon,  taking place on 14/10/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Edmundo Chapin (27(3) - 17(2) - 3) who hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Macario Severo(8(6) - 1) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  Chapin weighed in at 117 pounds and 8 ounces, while Severo weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Capo, and the three ringside judges are Rico Balcazar, Vicente Tarin and Juan Bailon.

Chapin gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Severo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Severo pushes his forearm into Chapin's face.  The referee warns Severo and breaks the clinch.  
Severo feints a jab, tricking Chapin into launching a left uppercut counter.  Severo is waiting for the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  
Severo is on target with a jab.  
Chapin is on target with a jab.  
Severo lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS CHAPIN TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.
