John Waweru vs Xhosas Chelimo

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Connor Ogindo Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 27/09/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Waweru (7 - 5 - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Xhosas Chelimo(5 - 6 - 2) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Waweru and Chelimo weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lisimba Kimeli, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Andersson, Billy Tumbo and Sulaiman Saitot.  

Round 1: 

Waweru steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.
