Saiffeddine Jay vs Asil Majidi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Morocco-Marrakesh promoted show at Marrakech Lancry, Marrakech,  taking place on 19/09/2039:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Morocco-Marrakesh Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Saiffeddine Jay (14 - 12 - 6) who hails from Marrakech, Morocco and Asil Majidi(7 - 6(2) - 5) from Marrakech, Morocco.  Jay weighed in at 147 pounds, while Majidi weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Salamah Elhad, and the three ringside judges are Talut Samlal, Zarif Alsijilmasi and Safiy al Din Serfaty.  

Round 1: 

Majidi throws a left hook, but Jay holds on to his opponent.  Majidi pushes his forearm into Jay's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

As Jay tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Majidi dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Jay sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Majidi attempts to land a jab, but Jay slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Majidi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Majidi attempts to land a left uppercut, but Jay blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Majidi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Jay quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent andThe two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Majidi.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
