John Tod vs John Beau

Boxing Daily Report from the Yassa Promotions promoted show at Oliver Benichou Gym, Edmonton,  taking place on 18/09/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Tod (3 - 9 - 1) who hails from Edmonton, Canada and John Beau(30(9) - 12(6)) from Calgary, Canada.  Both Tod and Beau weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Connor Bonnie, and the three ringside judges are Campbell Marques, Theo Kimmons and Oscar Lewis.  

Round 1: 

Tod closes the distance.  Beau hits home with a left hook.  
Beau advances into close range.  Tod throws a left hook, but Beau holds on to his opponent.  Beau is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Beau and breaks the clinch.  
Beau lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Beau hits home with a left uppercut.  
Beau lands a stinging cross.  
Tod is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Beau gets on the inside.  Beau sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Beau quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Tod lands a left hook.  
Beau closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Tod's body.
