Verlyn Otu vs Paul Micah

Boxing Daily Report from the Lamptey Promotions promoted show at Accra Alhassan, Accra,  taking place on 15/09/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Verlyn Otu (10(3) - 1 - 1) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Paul Micah(11 - 12 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Otu weighed in at 237 pounds and 1 ounces, while Micah weighed in at 239 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nabulung Akoto, and the three ringside judges are Usi Boakye, Mark Berko and Brad Boakye.  

Round 1: 

Otu steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Otu holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Otu pushes his forearm into Micah's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.
