Eloy Menor vs Vicente Montalbo

Boxing Daily Report from the Gabuza Promotions promoted show at Rosario Custodio, Rosario,  taking place on 17/08/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Santa Fe Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eloy Menor (24(1) - 14(9)) who hails from Rosario, Argentina and Vicente Montalbo(13 - 10(1) - 3) from Rosario, Argentina.  Both Menor and Montalbo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marjun Malagon, and the three ringside judges are Kiki Valenzuela, Enzo Olmeda and Ora Provencio.  

Round 1: 

Menor sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Montalbo tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Menor closes the distance and lands two right hook's to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Menor lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Menor lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Menor lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Menor lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Montalbo steps to the outside.  Menor hits home with a cross.  
Menor steps inside.  Menor pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Menor cuts off the ring, trapping Montalbo on the ropes.  Menor lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Menor lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Menor lands two right hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Menor pivots to the side of his opponent.  Menor attempts to land a left hook, but Montalbo sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Menor is on target with a right uppercut to Montalbo's body.  
Menor closes the distance.  Menor sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Montalbo digs in a left hook to Menor's liver.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Montalbo has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Menor closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Menor steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Menor sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Montalbo's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Montalbo's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Montalbo steps to the outside.  Menor hits home with an overhand right.  
Menor connects with a forceful left hook.  MONTALBO IS HURT!  Montalbo wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Menor dabs at his face checking for damage.  Montalbo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Menor advances into close range and EXPLODES a nasty right uppercut into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES MONTALBO!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Menor!
