Jonathan Muriithi vs Kieran Mitei

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Kisumu Melly, Kisumu,  taking place on 01/08/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Kisumu Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jonathan Muriithi (15(4) - 6(2) - 1) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Kieran Mitei(21 - 12(2) - 3) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Both Muriithi and Mitei weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Udenwa Lalang, and the three ringside judges are Peter Kirui, Kendis Rimbui and Arthur Wacera.  

Round 1: 

Muriithi lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.
