Orlando Colmenero vs Sagaz Saldana

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at SM MOA Arena, Manila,  taking place on 19/08/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Orlando Colmenero (37(24) - 6 - 3) who hails from Caloocan, Philippines and Sagaz Saldana(9 - 14(1) - 1) from Cebu City, Philippines.  Both Colmenero and Saldana weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Tapawan, and the three ringside judges are Gervasio Bague, Sam Tulio and Henry Amosin.  

Round 1: 

Colmenero is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Colmenero holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Colmenero pushes his forearm into Saldana's face.  The referee warns Colmenero and breaks the clinch.  
Saldana throws a right uppercut, but Colmenero holds on to his opponent.  Colmenero leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Colmenero manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Colmenero lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Colmenero ties up his opponent.  Colmenero is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Colmenero's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Saldana recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Colmenero throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Colmenero clinches his opponent.  Colmenero leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Colmenero's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Saldana throws a right hook, but Colmenero ties up his opponent.  Colmenero leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Colmenero's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Colmenero walks Saldana down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Colmenero pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a firm right uppercut into Saldana's body.  
Saldana throws a left hook, but Colmenero holds on to his opponent.  Colmenero leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Colmenero's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Colmenero lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Colmenero lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Colmenero lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Colmenero walks Saldana into a corner.  Colmenero lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Saldana dabs at his face checking for damage.  Saldana has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Colmenero is on target with a solid left hook.  
Saldana tries to step out of his opponents range.  Colmenero feints a right, and then lands a cross.  
Colmenero advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Colmenero connects with a right hook.  
Colmenero lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Colmenero forces Saldana to retreat onto the ropes.  Colmenero lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Colmenero ties up his opponent.  Colmenero tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Saldana behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  Saldana recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Colmenero lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Colmenero pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Saldana throws a left hook, but Colmenero ties up his opponent.  Colmenero uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Saldana's kidney. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Colmenero to stop holding.  
Colmenero lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Colmenero lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS SALDANA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Colmenero is on target with a left hook.
