Gage Ponce vs Chevy Nolton

Boxing Daily Report from the Simanansa Promotions promoted show at Bamenda Djimou, Bamenda,  taking place on 21/06/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cameroon-Nord-Oueste Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gage Ponce (21(14) - 21(6) - 3) who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon and Chevy Nolton(16 - 17 - 3) from Bamenda, Cameroon.  Both Ponce and Nolton weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bassett Belcourt, and the three ringside judges are Trystan de Marivaux, Corbin Maillard and Ross Giono.  

Round 1: 

Nolton steps to the outside.  Ponce sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nolton throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ponce digs in a right hook to Nolton's ribs.  
Ponce steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Ponce ties up his opponent.  Ponce pushes his forearm into Nolton's face.  The ref breaks Ponce's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ponce closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Ponce drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Ponce closes the distance.  Nolton throws a left hook, but Ponce holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ponce pushes his forearm into Nolton's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ponce tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Ponce manages to force Nolton into a corner.  Ponce lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ponce lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  Ponce holds on to his opponent.  Ponce is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Ponce and breaks the clinch.  
Ponce sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Ponce is looking to force the stoppage!  Ponce lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND NOLTON IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Nolton has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Ponce gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ponce advances into close range and connects with a solid left hook.  Ponce clinches his opponent.  Ponce is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ponce walks his opponent into the blue corner.  Ponce pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ponce lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Ponce clinches his opponent.  Ponce is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Ponce's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ponce connects with a right hook.  
Ponce lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Nolton tries to keep the action at long range.  Ponce lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Ponce attempts to land a jab, but Nolton sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ponce steps inside.  Nolton sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ponce lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Ponce lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ponce lands a cross.  
Ponce is looking to close the distance.  Ponce quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nolton's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Nolton's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Nolton's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Ponce is on target with a sharp right hook to Nolton's body.  
Ponce closes the distance.  Ponce pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Ponce cuts off the ring, trapping Nolton in the red corner.  Ponce lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.
