Ellis Poovey vs Dave Bendick

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Cobb Galleria Centre, Atlanta,  taking place on 09/12/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Georgia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ellis Poovey (13(4) - 0) who hails from Macon, USA and Dave Bendick(18(1) - 6 - 2) from Athens, USA.  Both Poovey and Bendick weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Lou, and the three ringside judges are Colin Binney, Edward Brand and Jacob Quigley.
