Gervasio Barbo vs Jose Alfonso

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Camaguey promoted show at Olindo Corral Gym, Camaguey,  taking place on 19/11/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Camaguey Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gervasio Barbo (5 - 9) who hails from Camaguey, Cuba and Jose Alfonso(3 - 2) from Camaguey, Cuba.  Both Barbo and Alfonso weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicandro Estay, and the three ringside judges are Diego Arellanes, Rodrigo Diaz and Venacio Cornejo.  

Round 1: 

Barbo hits home with a cross.  
Alfonso lands a left hook.  
Barbo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Alfonso tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
