John Inch vs Lucas Quail

Boxing Daily Report from the Kapenta Promotions promoted show at Robert Llewellyn Gym, Athens,  taking place on 04/11/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Georgia Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Inch (13 - 9) who hails from Atlanta, USA and Lucas Quail(3 - 4 - 1) from Atlanta, USA.  Both Inch and Quail weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noel Lawther, and the three ringside judges are Owen Lowery, Jacob Quigley and Jonathan Bonnar.  

Round 1: 

Inch switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Inch steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Quail blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Quail walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Inch hits home with a left hook.  
Inch lands a cross.  
Quail steps inside.  Inch pivots to the right of his opponent.  Inch throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Quail has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
