Asif Zahra vs Sam Magugu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Razi Masinde Gym, Mombasa,  taking place on 28/10/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Asif Zahra (14 - 17(1) - 4) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Sam Magugu(8 - 10) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Zahra weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Magugu weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Baldacchino, and the three ringside judges are Michael Bwakali, Fraser Magwanga and Sam Yiampoy.  

Round 1: 

Magugu hits home with a cross.

Magugu walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Zahra connects with a right hook.  
Magugu throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Zahra to the neutral corner.  He has a stern word with Magugu and threatens a point deduction if continues to foul.  
Zahra pivots to the side of his opponent andAs Zahra tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Magugu dabs at his face checking for damage.
