Mervyn McCoig vs Mel Jones

Boxing Daily Report from the Team Mass Valley promoted show at Cardiff Evans, Cardiff,  taking place on 26/10/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Wales Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mervyn McCoig (9 - 1) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Mel Jones(11(1) - 1) from Cardiff, UK.  McCoig weighed in at 118 pounds, while Jones weighed in at 117 pounds and 5 ounces.
