Kieran Cowper vs Pancho Zamarron

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Estadio José Manuel Moreno, Merlo,  taking place on 30/10/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kieran Cowper (14(11) - 1(1)) who hails from Linden, Guyana and Pancho Zamarron(17(1) - 1) from Rosario, Argentina.  Both Cowper and Zamarron weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xabat Portilla, and the three ringside judges are Juan Chicas, Ryo Lanzo and Ponce Pomar.  

Round 1: 

Cowper lands an overhand left, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Zamarron recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Zamarron throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Cowper tries to keep the action at long range.  Zamarron hits home with a cross.  
Zamarron lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Cowper switches the action to the outside and drives a jab into Zamarron's body.  
Zamarron walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Zamarron pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Zamarron closes the distance.  Zamarron pivots to the left of his opponent.  Cowper digs in a sharp left uppercut to Zamarron's ribs.  Cowper tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Cowper is looking to keep his distance and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Cowper lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Zamarron throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Cowper tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cowper lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Cowper steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Zamarron walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Zamarron is on target with a cross.  
Zamarron pivots from in front of his opponent.  Zamarron tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a forceful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE ZAMARRON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Zamarron quickly recovers. 
Cowper steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Zamarron is looking to close the distance.  Cowper knows Zamarron is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Cowper lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head, AND DROPS ZAMARRON!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Zamarron now seems to have his senses back.  
Cowper is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Zamarron attempts to land a cross, but Cowper sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Zamarron lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Zamarron walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Zamarron pivots to the left of his opponent.  Cowper hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Zamarron throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Cowper finds the target with a jab.  
Cowper tries to step out of his opponents range and SLAMS a CRUSHING overhand left into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES ZAMARRON!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT ZAMARRON CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Cowper!
