Matthew Morehead vs Matt Dripps

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Dan Hilson Gym, Rockford,  taking place on 16/10/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matthew Morehead (5 - 10 - 2) who hails from Naperville, USA and Matt Dripps(8 - 8 - 5) from Chicago, USA.  Morehead weighed in at 107 pounds and 7 ounces, while Dripps weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rex McNiven, and the three ringside judges are Mark Terres, Ethan Bukowski and Matt Preddy.  

Round 1: 

Dripps lands a left hook.  
Morehead sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Dripps lands an overhand right.  
Morehead pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Dripps forces Morehead to retreat onto the ropes.  Dripps tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Dripps walks his opponent into the blue corner.  Dripps connects with a right hook.  
Dripps closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Morehead drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.

Dripps advances into close range.  Morehead pivots from in front of his opponent.  Dripps hits home with a right hook.  
Dripps gets on the inside and walks Morehead onto the ropes.  Morehead is on target with a right hook.

Morehead pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Dripps gets on the inside.  Morehead connects with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Dripps has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Dripps closes the distance.  Dripps pivots to the left of his opponent.  Dripps tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dripps hits home with a right hook.  
Morehead is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.

Dripps advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Dripps is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.
