Steven Khalwale vs Mason Gaddae

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Iria, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/09/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Steven Khalwale (7 - 8 - 3) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Mason Gaddae(1 - 0) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Khalwale and Gaddae weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon Cassam, and the three ringside judges are Faisal Shaheen, Shaun Chelangat and Kashif Haque.  

Round 1: 

Khalwale steps inside.  Gaddae lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Gaddae ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gaddae lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Gaddae holds on to his opponent.  Gaddae pushes his forearm into Khalwale's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gaddae.  
Gaddae is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Gaddae lands a jab to the body, a cross to the body and a cross to the head.  
Gaddae lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Gaddae is on target with a cross.  
Gaddae closes the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.

Gaddae is looking to keep his distance.  Khalwale tries to land a cross, but Gaddae dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Gaddae hits home with a sharp left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Khalwale's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Khalwale's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Khalwale's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Khalwale.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Gaddae lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Gaddae closes the distance.  Gaddae sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES KHALWALE!  He manages to get up at 6.  Khalwale recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Khalwale closes the distance.  Gaddae lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Gaddae lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!
