Chris Kane vs Joseph Shank

Boxing Daily Report from the Granite Chin Promotions promoted show at National Guard Armory, Philadelphia,  taking place on 27/09/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Chris Kane (11(7) - 1) who hails from Fayetteville, USA and Joseph Shank(23 - 25(5) - 5) from Anchorage, USA.  Both Kane and Shank weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rex Cowper, and the three ringside judges are Declan Forbes, John Gorry and Josh Williams.  

Round 1: 

Kane throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Kane closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Kane snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.  
Kane feints a left, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kane is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kane lands two straights followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Shank forces Kane to retreat into the corner.  Kane is on target with a stinging jab.  
Kane gets on the inside.  Kane is on target with a right hook.  Kane ties up his opponent.  Kane is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kane to stop fouling.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shank dabs at his face checking for damage.

Kane advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kane is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kane connects with a cross.  
Kane tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a firm cross.  
Kane closes the distance.  Kane quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kane lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Kane ties up his opponent.  Kane hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Shank quickly recovers. 
Shank is looking to keep his distance.  Kane feints a cross, and then is on target with an overhand left.  
Kane is on target with a jab.  
Kane steps inside and drives a stinging right hook into Shank's body.  
Shank throws a right hook, but Kane clinches his opponent.  Kane leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Kane's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kane switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Kane sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Shank tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Kane is on target with a cross.  
Kane feints a jab and triggers a right hook counter from Shank.  Kane avoids the shot and counters with a right hook to Shank's body.  
Shank throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Kane's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Kane finds the target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Shank's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Kane lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body.  
Kane connects with a mean overhand left.  SHANK HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Kane advances into close range and digs in a left hook to Shank's body.  
Kane lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kane switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Kane lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Kane steps away from his opponent and connects with a solid cross.  
Kane lands a cross, overhand right and an overhand left to his opponents head, AND DROPS SHANK TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Kane!
