Eddie McCalmont vs James MacDuff

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Scotland promoted show at Edinburgh Gray, Edinburgh,  taking place on 16/09/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eddie McCalmont (3 - 14(1) - 3) who hails from Glasgow, UK and James MacDuff(4(3) - 7(1) - 1) from Aberdeen, UK.  Both McCalmont and MacDuff weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John McVicker, and the three ringside judges are Martin MacBeth, Patrick McBeth and Gordon Arnott.  

Round 1: 

MacDuff steps inside and is on target with a right hook to McCalmont's body.

MacDuff drives a stinging left uppercut into McCalmont's ribs.

McCalmont steps to the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
MacDuff gets on the inside and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.

MacDuff lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.

The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  MacDuff throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  McCalmont quickly recovers. 
MacDuff is on target with a solid left hook.  MacDuff ties up his opponent.  MacDuff leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  MacDuff throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
MacDuff lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
MacDuff lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  MacDuff clinches his opponent.  McCalmont leans on his opponent using all his weight. MacDuff tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits McCalmont behind the head. The ref breaks MacDuff's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McCalmont's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  McCalmont's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  McCalmont's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

MacDuff manouvers McCalmont onto the ropes.  MacDuff lands a stinging left uppercut.  
MacDuff attempts to land a left hook, but McCalmont parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
McCalmont steps inside.  MacDuff lands a stinging left hook.  
MacDuff lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
MacDuff lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
MacDuff lands a sharp right hook.  
MacDuff walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McCalmont dabs at his face checking for damage.

MacDuff lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS MCCALMONT TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  McCalmont quickly recovers.
