Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Northern England promoted show at Vincent Lawgoch Gym, Leeds,  taking place on 16/09/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alastair McAlpin (31(21) - 13(6) - 1) who hails from Preston, UK and Gareth Speirs(5 - 8 - 2) from Blackburn, UK.  Both McAlpin and Speirs weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul McComb, and the three ringside judges are Rob Reece, Rob Reece and Spencer McBride.  

Round 1: 

McAlpin gets on the inside and drives a left uppercut into Speirs's ribs.  McAlpin ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McAlpin pushes his forearm into Speirs's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McAlpin to stop fouling.

Speirs advances into close range.  McAlpin lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  McAlpin ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McAlpin pushes his forearm into Speirs's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns McAlpin.
