Mark Thom vs John Lyn

Boxing Daily Report from the Win some lose some promoted show at Nassau Colvin, Nassau,  taking place on 17/09/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bahamas-New Providence Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Thom (9 - 7(3)) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and John Lyn(1 - 5) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Thom weighed in at 160 pounds, while Lyn weighed in at 159 pounds And 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jack Binnie, and the three ringside judges are Dale Blackley, Lucas Roddick and Alen Middlemas.  

Round 1: 

Thom is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Thom gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Thom advances into close range.  Thom sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Thom lands with a stinging jab.  
Thom gets on the inside and hits home with a solid left hook.  Thom attempts to land a left hook, but Lyn sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Thom gets on the inside.  Lyn throws a right hook, but Thom holds on to his opponent.  Thom leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Thom's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Lyn has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
