Pedro Mercedes vs Porfio Cala

Boxing Daily Report from the Vilakazi Promotions promoted show at Cruz Mellado Gym, San Bernardo,  taking place on 28/08/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Chile-Santiago Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pedro Mercedes (10 - 24 - 8) who hails from Santiago, Chile and Porfio Cala(10 - 9(3) - 5) from La Florida, Chile.  Mercedes weighed in at 134 pounds and 8 ounces, while Cala weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Nunez, and the three ringside judges are Porfio Cristobal, Rio Guerrero and Vicente Pintor.  

Round 1: 

Mercedes throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.
