Patrick Marshall vs Aidan Doyle

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Pittodrie Stadium, Aberdeen,  taking place on 02/10/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Patrick Marshall (32(26) - 3(2) - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Aberdeen, UK and Aidan Doyle(18(8) - 9(1) - 2) from Belfast, UK.  Both Marshall and Doyle weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John McVicker, and the three ringside judges are Hamish McBeth, Peter McWethy and Anton Adam.  

Round 1: 

Doyle steps inside.  Marshall lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Marshall holds on to his opponent.  Doyle is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Marshall sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Marshall throws a left uppercut, but misses the target.  Marshall holds on to his opponent.  Doyle is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Marshall throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Marshall holds on to his opponent.  Marshall is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Marshall and breaks the clinch.  
Marshall throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Doyle attempts to land a right hook, but Marshall blocks the shot and counters with a mean right uppercut to his opponents body.  DOYLE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Doyle recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Marshall clinches his opponent.  Doyle pushes his forearm into Marshall's face.  The ref breaks Marshall's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Some sustained pressure from Marshall could be enough to finish Doyle!  Marshall lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  It looks like Doyle has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Marshall quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Marshall lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Marshall attempts to land a cross, but Doyle blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.
