Quoitrel Sigei vs Jay Gitau

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Machakos promoted show at Amon Akaranga Gym, Kangundo-Tala,  taking place on 28/08/2038:

Clearly AI Kenya-Machakos have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Machakos Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quoitrel Sigei (10 - 26(3) - 2) who hails from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya and Jay Gitau(15 - 14) from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya.  Sigei weighed in at 135 pounds, while Gitau weighed in at 135 pounds and 11 ounces.    As Gitau came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Noah Komon, and the three ringside judges are Noah Komon, Chike Maru and Chike Maru.

Gitau gets on the inside.  Sigei pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Sigei is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right.

Gitau closes the distance.  Sigei hits home with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Gitau.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
