Malik Davi vs Asif Akbar

Boxing Daily Report from the Kimmula Promotions promoted show at Waqas Momin Gym, Karaj,  taking place on 27/08/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran-Alborz Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Malik Davi (16 - 17) who hails from Karaj, Iran and Asif Akbar(11 - 32(1) - 1) from Karaj, Iran.  Davi weighed in at 159 pounds and 11 ounces, while Akbar weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ahmed Barakat, and the three ringside judges are Jawad Parsa, Sajid Amber and Rehan Nazar.  

Round 1: 

Akbar is looking to close the distance.  As Akbar tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Davi dabs at his face checking for damage.
