Ryuu Sakurai vs Phil Lawter

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Marine Messe Fukuoka, Fukuoka,  taking place on 09/10/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TBS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ryuu Sakurai (18(7) - 1(1)) who hails from Kitakyushu, Japan and Phil Lawter(27(3) - 3(1)) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Both Sakurai and Lawter weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Iwao Kusumoto, and the three ringside judges are Naoki Matsumura, Akira Umemoto and Yuji Sakai.  

Round 1: 

Lawter throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.
