Sierra Cotto vs Nasario Jarquin

Boxing Daily Report from the Yalley Promotions promoted show at Guayaquil Archibeque, Guayaquil,  taking place on 24/08/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sierra Cotto (9(4) - 2) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Nasario Jarquin(27 - 8(1) - 4) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Cotto and Jarquin weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oro Barahona, and the three ringside judges are Luis Cantero, Jax Civil and Felippe Manco.  

Round 1: 

Cotto gets on the inside and digs in a solid left hook to Jarquin's liver.  
Cotto lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Cotto connects with a left hook.  
Jarquin throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Cotto lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Cotto connects with a firm left uppercut.  Cotto holds on to his opponent.  Cotto leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Cotto uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Jarquin's kidney.

Jarquin is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.

Cotto manages to force Jarquin into a corner.  Cotto digs in a solid right hook to Jarquin's body.  
Cotto pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cotto digs in a right hook to Jarquin's ribcage.  
Cotto drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Cotto steps inside and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Cotto gets on the inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Jarquin has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused damage to the nose.  
Cotto gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Cotto connects with a stinging left uppercut.  Cotto clinches his opponent.  Cotto is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cotto to stop fouling.  Cotto wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Jarquin dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Jarquin sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cotto finds the target with a solid jab.  Cotto attempts to land a right uppercut, but Jarquin blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Cotto is looking to close the distance.  Cotto pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cotto steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Cotto lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Cotto ties up his opponent.  Cotto leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cotto pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Cotto manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Cotto lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.
