Josh Dacourt vs John Gay

Boxing Daily Report from the Sugar Valley promotion promoted show at Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia,  taking place on 10/09/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Pennsylvania Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Josh Dacourt (31(11) - 1(1)) who hails from Philadelphia, USA and John Gay(13 - 24(2) - 3) from Philadelphia, USA.  Both Dacourt and Gay weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Briar, and the three ringside judges are Declan Mendivil, John Beall and Cody Flett.  

Round 1: 

Dacourt steps inside.  Dacourt pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.

Gay sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Dacourt drives a right uppercut into Gay's body.  
Gay tries to step out of his opponents range.  Dacourt feints a right hook, and then hits home with a cross.  
Dacourt steps inside and manouvers Gay onto the ropes.  Dacourt is on target with a left uppercut.

Dacourt closes the distance.  Gay throws a right uppercut, but Dacourt holds on to his opponent.  Dacourt is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Dacourt tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gay's kidney. Dacourt uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Gay behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Dacourt about fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gay's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Gay's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Gay's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Gay's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
